Who is responsible
Felix Web Solutions is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our enquiry channels.

Personal data we process
Contact and project enquiries — when you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, email address, and the contents of your message (and any files or links you choose to send). We use this to reply and, if relevant, to scope or deliver work.
Technical logs — our hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser type, device information and pages requested, for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. This is ordinary server and CDN logging.
Analytics — we use OpenPanel (openpanel.dev) to understand how this site is used. It records page views, referrers, device/browser information and approximate location derived from IP. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell analytics data.
We do not run a public comments system on this site, and we do not ask you to create an account to browse it.
Why we process it
Enquiries and project communication — legitimate interests in running a web design and development business and responding to people who contact us; and, where we enter a contract, processing necessary to take steps toward or perform that contract.
Security and logging — legitimate interests in keeping the site and our systems secure.
Analytics (where used) — legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it, or consent where the law or our cookie banner requires it.
Who we share data with
We use service providers who process data on our instructions — for example email, hosting, form delivery and OpenPanel for analytics. They are not allowed to use your enquiry data for their own marketing.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
If you are an agency client, we process project communication under that commercial relationship. We do not contact your end clients unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping (typically up to 24 months for unsuccessful enquiries, longer where they form part of a client file or legal obligation).
Server logs are retained according to our host’s defaults, usually for a short operational window.
Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to the tool’s retention settings.
Rights under UK GDPR
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also ask for data portability where applicable.

Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies may be set so the site functions (for example security or load balancing).
OpenPanel may set cookies or similar storage needed to recognise a session. Where the law requires a choice before non-essential cookies run, we will only enable them after that choice.
